Finnish Minerals Group finds new rare earth elements in Finland
On October 30, the Finnish Minerals Group announced that Sokli and the Geological Survey of Finland have identified two new minerals, kukharenkoite and cordylite, through mineralogical characterization. This is the first time that these minerals have been discovered in Finland.
