Volvo Cars and Northvolt starts construction of Gothenburg gigafactory in Sweden
On September 28, Volvo Cars and Northvolt announced the start of construction work on their joint venture, Novo Energy’s Li-on battery gigafactory in Gothenburg, Sweden. The work at the site will start on October 1, 2023. The gigafactory spans over an area equivalent to 130,000 square meters.
