On October 13, General Motors issued a recall for 824 of its new EVs, including 735 2022-2023 GMC Hummer EVs, and 89 2022 BrightDrop EV600 electric vans, built between November 9, 2021 and September 28, 2022, on concerns over certain flanges on the battery packs, assembled by Magna International.
