VW said to be in talks with Magna to develop new Scout platform

Volkswagen is reportedly considering a partnership with Canadian supplier Magna to help develop the forthcoming Scout brand/models on an accelerated timetable.
The OEM’s existing MEB architecture, along with the forthcoming PPE and SSP platforms, are not compatible with off-road use.
