Ashok Leyland restructures e-mobility business
On November 12, Ashok Leyland (AL) announced the transfer of its electric vehicle (EV) business to Switch Mobility Automotive Limited, India, (SMAL) by way of slump sale basis, for a consideration of INR 2.4 billion. SMAL is a step-down subsidiary of AL and was formed to drive the EV business.
