Honda opens voluntary dismissal program to shrink staff in Brazil plants
On October 14, Honda announced it is going to open a Voluntary Dismissal Program (PDV) in its car plants in Sumaré and Itirapina to reduce the number of vehicle assembly workers it now has.
The two plants combines currently have around 3,000 workers.
