Tesla faces NHTSA recall of 159,000 Model S, X vehicles over failing touchscreens
On January 13, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) sent a letter to Tesla saying it has tentatively determined that some of its touch screens are defective because their computer processors have a finite number of program-and-erase cycles.
