Daimler invests EUR 300 million in Romania for transmission production
On April 4, Daimler announced that their Romanian subsidiary Star Assembly has started production of the 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission.
Daimler is investing more than EUR 300 million to expand the production capacity of the plant, located in Sebes, Romania, which will create around 1,000 new jobs.
