Uber posts USD 5.23 billion quarterly loss, its biggest, as revenue climbs 14%
On August 8, Uber Technologies recorded a USD 5.23-billion loss in its second quarter of 2019 as its largest-ever quarterly loss, due primarily to USD 3.9 billion of stock-based compensation costs related to its May initial public offering.
