Honda to start BR-V production in Philippines

On October 24, 2018, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) announced that Honda BR-V will now be produced in Santa Rosa, Laguna plant.
Along with the City, the Honda BR-V, introduced back in 2016, now serves as Honda’s second bestselling nameplate in the Philippines. With its practical 7-seater capacity combined with its efficient and capable engine, the BR-V has been well accepted by the Philippine market since its introduction and has been considered as the pioneer in the competitive 7-seater sub-compact SUV segment.
The available variants for BR-V are 1.5 S CVT, 1.5 S CVT Modulo, 1.5 V Navi CVT, and 1.5 V Navi CVT Modulo. All variants are powered by a 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine with 120 PS at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm, mated with CVT.
