Toyota readies expansion of production facility in Tijuana, Mexico
A USD 150 million expansion at the Toyota assembly plant in Tijuana, Mexico is nearly complete as it awaits trial production of Tacoma pickups to begin in January 2018.
The expansion will increase the plant’s annual production capacity by 60% to 160,000 units.
