Indonesian automobile manufacturers association (Gaikindo) and other sources reported that Indonesian vehicle sales in August were 96,461 units up 0.2% year over year.
January - August sales were up 3.6% to 715,291 units.
By automaker sales in August, Toyota was down 10.6% y/y to 34,690 units and Honda was up 3.5% to 17,690 units. Daihatsu was down 5.8% to 15,821 units. Suzuki was up 55.5% to 10,035 units. Mitsubishi (including Fuso trucks) was up 11.3% to 9,185 units.
