GM offers new 2.8L turbo-diesel engine for its midsize pickups

GM introduced on July 28 the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon turbo-diesel packages, featuring the new 2.8L Duramax diesel, SAE-certified at 181 hp (135 kW) and 369 lb-ft of torque (500 Nm), as the cleanest diesel truck engine ever from GM. The diesel versions are scheduled to go on sale this fall.
