Toyota to increase production of the Highlander, $100 million investments with 300 new jobs
Toyota announced on August 22 that it will spend $100 million to increase production of the Highlander midsize SUV at the Princeton plant in Indiana. The project would allow it to build up to 30,000 more Highlanders annually with 300 additional jobs by summer 2016. The plant now has about 4,700 workers.
