About This Interview
Demand for Electric Vehicles (EVs) is increasing rapidly in the ASEAN market, especially in Thailand, driven by the expansion of Chinese OEMs. In an exclusive interview, Mr. Viroj Patcharawattanakul, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of AAPICO Hitech Public Co., Ltd. (AAPICO), shared how the company is leveraging its core competencies to remain competitive and evolve in the transition from Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) to EV.
Founded in 1996 and listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2002, AAPICO manufactures assembly jigs, stamping dies, and a wide range of OEM automotive components, including metal forming parts, plastic parts, casting parts, and forging and machining parts, serving leading automobile assemblers locally and internationally. Its products include Body in White, floor parts, cross members, chassis frame components, washer systems, and trim pillars.
The company generated THB 26,167 million in sales for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, with its OEM Auto Parts Manufacturing segment contributing 70% of total sales.
