On April 19, KPIT Technologies Limited announced that it has now acquired the balance stake in PathPartner. Accordingly, PathPartner has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.  The total cost of acquisition of a 100% stake has not exceeded INR 1,910 million. The acquisition will strengthen KPIT software integration capabilities and help deliver complex software solutions for new-age vehicle architectures. 
It will also provide early access to semiconductor technologies by leveraging PathPartner centers of excellence and technical assets for automotive OEMs and Tier 1s. Further, it will enhance the performance engineering of complex high-compute domain controller software in autonomous, infotainment, connected, and electrification domains. PathPartner Technology is a member of KPIT Group, is a product engineering and R&D specialist company

On April 22, Pavna Industries Limited announced that it agreed with OLA Electric to supply ignition switches and latches. As per the agreement, Pavna Industries will provide high-quality ignition switches and latches to OLA Electric across its manufacturing plants in India. Pavna Industries will also be expanding its product range to include more offerings in the electric vehicle (EV) segment and launch products such as motors and motor controllers
Pavna Group is an automotive parts manufacturer headquartered in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. This contract further consolidates the company’s foray into the two-wheeler electric vehicle segment.

On April 20, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. (Sona Comstar), inaugurated its new manufacturing plant in the Fipasi Industrial Park, Silao, Mexico. The new facility will specialize in producing differential assemblies and reduction gears designed for BEVs. Over time, it will further diversify its product range to accommodate the evolving technological advancements in electric vehicles.
The facility will be equipped with advanced manufacturing technologies, creating multiple job opportunities for the local economy. The North American region contributes 40% of revenue to Sona Comstar
