On April 23, SINOTRUK introduced the HOWO brand in Algeria. SINOTRUK put 10 main selling models on display, including HOWO 6X4 tractor, 8X4 dump truck, sprinkler truck, cargo truck, and special vehicle chassis.
SINOTRUK is also planning to build a KD factory in Algeria. SINOTRUK has obtained an import quota of 2,500 vehicles in 2023, making it the only brand to receive the import quota of commercial vehicles in this batch.
On April 22, multiple sources reported that the assembly of the Chinese brand VGV (Weichai Automotive) started at the Unison car assembly plant in Belarus. Unison will supply these cars for the Russian market. The distributor of the brand in Russia is Motor Place LLC.
It has launched an assembly of VGV U70 Pro and U75 Plus crossovers. The U70 Pro has a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with 143 hp power. The U75 Plus has a 2.0-liter engine with 199 hp power. The overall length of both cars is 4.8 meters.

On October 25, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (Sinotruk) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Post Group Co., Ltd. (China Post) in Beijing.
According to the agreement, the two parties will conduct in-depth cooperation in areas such as market expansion, financial operations, express logistics, and products and technologies. They will jointly explore the innovation of intelligent logistics and automobile finance model and co-build an eco-system for the commercial operations of New Energy Vehicles.
