On April 26, at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing, SAIC Maxus started accepting pre-orders for the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) editions of the Mifa 7 and Mifa 9 large electric MPVs. Deliveries will kick off on May 28.
For the Mifa 7 PHEV, the prices of the long- and ultra-long-range variants range from CNY 199,900 to CNY 239,900 and from CNY 209,900 to CNY 249,900, respectively. For the Mifa 9 PHEV, the prices of the long- and ultra-long-range variants range from CNY 2399,900 to CNY 339,900 and from CNY 269,900 to CNY 349,900, respectively.
Both the Mifa 7 PHEV and the Mifa 9 PHEV employ the ACIS intelligent all-scenario super hybrid technology. Equipped with a 3rd-generation 1.5T dedicated hybrid engine (rated power 110kW and peak torque 235Nm), a single-speed dedicated hybrid transmission, a 2WD system with P1+P3 dual motors (maximum power 176kW and peak torque 390Nm), and a 24.7kWh lithium-iron phosphate or 39.7kWh ternary lithium battery, they deliver a 0 to 50km/h acceleration time of only 4.5 seconds, a combined range of over 1,300km, and a V2L (Vehicle to Load) power of 6.6kW.
