On April 25, at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing, JAC Group unveiled models such as the De-Fine technology vision concept vehicle, the HarmonyOS-powered Refine RF8, the Hantu EV, the X8 Hybrid Edition, and the Yiwei 3.
The HarmonyOS-powered Refine RF8 was officially launched, with prices ranging from CNY 209,900 to CNY 259,900. As China’s first MPV to feature a Huawei in-vehicle system, the vehicle contains a Huawei 15.6-inch 2K-resolution intelligent center console display and supports seamless connection with Huawei devices such as smartphones and smart watches.
The De-Fine serves as a vehicle exhibiting the high integration of JAC Group for forward-looking technical directions. Based on a next-generation high-performance intelligent architecture, the vehicle is compatible with electric and hybrid powertrains, charging and battery swapping solutions, and 2WD and 4WD layouts. The HarmonyOS-powered intelligent cockpit innovatively integrates a Skyline panoramic display, an intelligent center console display, and an intelligent center console. For intelligent driving, the group worked with leading technology companies such as Huawei to fully enter the era of ADS (Advanced Driving System) 3.0.
One day before the event, JAC Group signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei Digital Power in Beijing. According to the agreement, focusing on the integration of vehicle, in-vehicle system, and charging for New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), the two parties will launch comprehensive, in-depth cooperation in areas such as the development and application of NEV models or platforms; the application, development, and manufacturing of intelligent electric components; the establishment and operation of NEV charging networks; and the internationalization of NEVs.
With the four technology bases of a high-performance intelligent architecture, a cross-domain intelligent chassis, the Skyline intelligent cockpit, and an advanced intelligent driving system at the core, JAC Group will fully accelerate the launch of new product lineups consisting of over 30 products across the sedan, SUV, MPV, pickup truck, and hardcore off-road vehicle categories in the future.
