On May 8, Changan Mazda unveiled the interior design of the new EZ-6 electric sedan.

Adopting the “Authentic×Modern” design philosophy, the interior of the EZ-6 presents the modern luxury sense of an electric vehicle while following Mazda’s people-oriented development concept.

The EZ-6 comes with a horizontal center console design that frees the driver’s vision from being affected by the interior, the same one-piece seat design as the MX-5, and the first zero-gravity seat in a joint-venture New Energy sedan.

The EZ-6 is equipped with configurations such as a large panoramic sunroof, a 14.6-inch HD LCD touch screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and a Sony premium customized surround sound audio system.

On April 25, at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing, Changan Auto unveiled eight new release models such as the CHANGAN NEVO E07, AVATR11 2024, DEEPAL G318, DEEPAL SL03/S7 Commemorative Edition 2nd Anniversary, second-generation UNI-V Smart Electric iDD, CHANGAN KAICENE Digital Intelligent Large VAN, and the MAZDA EZ-6.

The automaker introduced the CHANGAN NEVO E07, it's first newly defined vehicle. This model is not only a mid-to-large luxury intelligent electric SUV.

The NEVO E07, with its length exceeding 5 meters and a wheelbase over 3.1 meters, it caters to diverse travel needs with a comprehensive solution. It is powered by CHANGAN’s proprietary SDA architecture, the NEVO E07 features advanced computing frameworks, secure communication networks, and customer oriented, effectively achieving a digital twin of the vehicle.

Announced on April 23, 2024, Changan Automobile unveiled progress of its vehicle manufacturing plant in Rayong, Thailand. The construction of the spray-painting facility’s main structure was completed on April 8. 

This will be followed by land levelling, concrete pouring (expected to be completed by April), installation of machinery/equipment and power supply.

Designed to be a green factory that combines high-efficiency equipment and low carbon processes, a 6MW solar power plant will also be installed, which will be able cover up to 19% of the plant's power needs and will help reduce CO2emissions by approximately 5,000 tons per year.

Vehicle production at this Rayong plant is scheduled to begin in Q1/2025, with a production capacity of at least 100,000 vehicles per year.
