On May 1, SAIPA Automotive Group presented its latest achievements in producing light and commercial vehicles, domestically produced engines, consumables car parts, and the latest research and industrial findings at the 6th Export Potential Exhibition in Iran.

It has presented  Shahin Plus Automatic, Sahand, Nissan Extend left-hand drive pickup, Nissan Right-hand drive pickup, Padra Plus Compact, and Nissan Long. Seven companies from SAIPA Automotive Group also presented their achievements.

On April 23, MG Motor launched its all-new MG 7 sedan in the GCC and Iraq. The vehicle will come with a choice of 1.5L and 2.0L Turbo petrol engines, with prices starting from USD 21,300 (excluding VAT). The car will be available in Lebanon, Iraq, and all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets.

The 1.5L Turbo MG 7 comes in DEL and STD trims, with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, offering 188 hp. While the 2.0L Turbo variant is available in COM and G.DEL trims, with a 9-speed automatic transmission, offering 261 hp.

The vehicle features a 10.25-inch front screen, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a range of active safety features, and advanced driver-assistance systems, depending on the model. The top variant features seats crafted with luxury silk Napa leather, microfibre suede, European textured piping, and a Bose sound system, featuring 9 speakers and central point virtual sound technology.

On January 21, multiple sources reported that Kama JSC is planning to export Atom electric cars to Indonesia, Iran, and Uzbekistan. Negotiations with Indonesia are already underway. The countries are showing great interest in both the car and operating system – Atom OS. Kama JSC is considering countries where the electric vehicle market is actively developing.
