Jan. 1912 Established a fabric plant in Hachioji City

Oct. 1946 Reorganized Kasai & Co. as Kasai Kogyo Co., Ltd.
Aug. 1949 Established Ryogoku Plant and started production of wooden door products.
Aug. 1956 Established Shinagawa Plant in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo and moved Ryogoku Plant to Shinagawa.
Dec. 1961 Established Oihama Plant in Yokosuka-city, Kanagawa.
July 1964 Listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

May 1997 Established Kasai Mexicana in Leon, Mexico (currently a consolidated subsidiary).

June 2001 Invested 5.2 billion yen to double the production capacity of interior parts of the Ohio plant (USA)  from 0.6 in 2001 to 1.2 million units in 2002. Added production was for Honda, Ford and AAAI (Honda/Ford joint venture), Isuzu (SIA). All new transactions except for Honda.
June 2001 Outsourced a portion of design work to meet the increased development of new models. Succeeded in sales promotions to Nissan, Honda, Ford and Isuzu.  Will increase the number of out-sourced engineers to almost 100 in order to overcome cost reduction requests from automakers who will be extremely busy developing parts to be installed in new vehicles, from 2002 onwards.

Oct. 2014 Acquired all shares in Antolin Kasai TEK Chennai Private Ltd. and changed the Indian subsidiary’s name to Kasai India (Chennai) Private Ltd.
Jan. 2015 Sold all the shares it held in Wuhu Kasai Automotive Interior Trim Parts Co., Ltd.
Jun. 2015 Established Kasai Sales & Engineering France SAS in France.
Jul. 2016 Dongfeng Visteon Automotive Trim Systems Co., Ltd. located in Hubei, China and its joint venture Dongfeng Kasai (Dalian) Automotive Trim Systems Co., Ltd. established Dongfeng Kasai (Wuhan) Roof Trim Systems Co., Ltd., investing 100% of the capital (currently a consolidated subsidiary).
Aug. 2016 Relocated the headquarters function of Kasai North America, Inc. to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, U.S.  
Jun. 2017 Completed a new building for technical research at its head office in Samukawa-cho, Kanagawa. 。
