On June 17, Volvo Cars announced it will end U.S. production of the S60 compact sedan at the end of June.
As Volvo's first and until recently only U.S.-manufactured vehicle, S60 production began at the USD 1.1 billion Ridgeville plant in South, Carolina in 2018.
