1977 Created by merging three French foundries: Montupet, Debard (later virax), and Founderie de precision.
1987 Acquired Alumalsa, a Spanish foundry.
Established three new foundries in France, Canada and UK. In the meantime, the Company became a producer and supplier of tooling equipment.
Established a new foundry in Mexico.
Took over a factory in Northern-Ireland that produces 500,000 cylinder-heads per year for the US Ford "Explorer" engine.
2005 Started constructing a plant in Bulgaria.
Apr. 2009 Began production operations at the Bulgarian Plant.
2010 Divested its Wheel branch of business in order to concentrate on the core area of engine components.
2013 Formed Jaya Hind Montupet Private Limited, a joint venture with Jaya Hind Industries which manufactures cylinder heads.
