History

1958 Established as "Ganxiang Tiemuzhu Plant" in Shanghai Jinshan County.
1962 The company name was changed to Ganxiang Renmin Gongshe Agricultural Plant.
1978 In January, the company name was changed to "Ganxiang Automobile Components Plant".
1988 In October, started supplying exterior rear view mirrors for the Santana after receiving approval from Shanghai Volkswagen.
1992 In October, "Shanghai Ganxiang Automobile Mirror (Group) Corp." was established.
1995 Reached a technological import agreement with LAVET (Italy) to introduce the company's production line for automotive anti-dazzling rear view mirrors.
1996 Shanghai Lunke Machinery Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Lunke, a German partner.
1996 In May, the company name was formally changed to "Shanghai Ganxiang Automobile Mirror (Group) Co., Ltd."
1999 Shanghai Mekra Lang Automobile Mirror Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with a German partner, Mekra Lang Co., Ltd.
Shanghai Hofferbert Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with a German partner, Hofferbert.
2000 Established a joint venture, Shanghai Donelley Ganxiang Automobile Systems Co., Ltd. with Donelley Company of America. (Note: The joint venture became independent, becoming a 100% owned subsidiary of Magna Donnelly, a U.S. company. The company name was also changed to Magna Donnelly (Shanghai) Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. 
2001 In Dec., completed a capital reorganization of its subsidiary, Shanghai Lunke Machinery Co., Ltd., and changed its name to ISE Industry Shanghai Co., Ltd. 
June 2004 Flabeg Gam Automotive Mirrors (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Flabeg, a German company.
Dec. 2004 Shanghai Heba Die-casting Co., Ltd. was established as a subsidiary in collaboration through a technical-licensing agreement with Heba, a German company.
Jan. 2005 Dura Ganxiang Automotive Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Dura Automotive Systems, Inc., a U.S.-based partner.
