Financial overview
- The TRW Group's net sales were $16.4 billion, which represents an increase of $200 million from the prior year. In 2012, approximately 13% of sales originated in China, which comprised approximately 13% of total sales. Production levels in fast growing regions, primarily China, were higher in 2012 as compared to 2011 due to stronger consumer demand. During 2012, while Japanese OEM production disruptions continue in China due to the current anti-Japanese sentiment, the impact on us is expected to be minimal due to our customer base.
