  The 19th Shanghai Motor Show (venue: National Exhibition and Convention Center) opened on April 19, 2021 and closed on April 28, 2021. The show attracted a total of 810,000 visitors and about 1,000 exhibitors. 1,310 vehicles, including 128 that were shown for the first time in the world, were displayed in the 360,000 square meters of exhibition space. Auto Shanghai 2021 was also the world's first international class motor show to be held this year, which attracted much of attention. This report focuses on the new energy vehicles (NEVs) exhibited by Ford, GM, Mazda and Stellantis.

  Ford held the world premiere of its new EVOS electric SUV, the first model developed in China based on the Ford China 2.0 business plan. At the same time, the new Mustang Mach-E intelligent electric SUV domestically produced in China and the high-performance PHEV, the Escape SUV, were also unveiled. Under the Lincoln brand, the world premiere of its Zephyr Reflection concept car was announced. In addition, the new Corsair PHEV was unveiled in China for the first time.

  GM exhibited 44 new models from three brands: Buick, Chevrolet and Cadillac. Among these, the Cadillac brand presented the world premiere of the Lyriq concept car, the first intelligent electric SUV based on the Ultium EV platform, and the Buick brand presented the Electra concept car, an NEV.

  Mazda unveiled the Mazda CX-30 EV, the company's first EV in China, as a design reference model for the first time in the world. This model was developed based on Mazda's new vehicle structure technology and electrification technology, e-SKYACTIV.

  Peugeot, Citroen, Jeep and Maserati exhibited in the Stellantis group. Peugeot announced that it will adopt a new lion emblem for the Chinese market. At the same time, the company announced the launch of a new SUV family including the new Peugeot 4008 PHEV 4WD. Citroen exhibited its entire series, including its new flagship C5 X model. Maserati held the world premiere of its first HV SUV, the Levante Hybrid.
