The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for August 2022.
Retail
August retail sales of passenger cars totaled 1.871 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) increase of 28.9%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In August, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 632,000 units, up 103.9% y/y.
