The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for September 2021.
Retail
September retail sales of passenger cars totaled 1.582 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 17.3%.
New energy vehicles (NEVs)
In September, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 355,000 units, up by 184.4% y/y.
