The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for December 2020.
Retail
December retail sales of passenger cars totaled 2.288 million units, reflecting a 6.6% year-over-year (y/y) increase.
New energy vehicles (NEV)
In December, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 210,000 units, up by 53.6% y/y.
