 Production volume of new energy vehicles (electric vehicles [EVs], plug-in hybrid vehicles [PHVs], and fuel cell vehicle [FCVs]; excluding vehicles equipped with lead-acid batteries) in February 2017 in China increased by 2.2-fold month-over-month (m/m) and by 18% year-over-year (y/y). By vehicle type, production volume of passenger cars accounted for 95% of the new-energy-vehicle production share, marking a record high, and that of EVs accounted for 80%.
