On March 23, Van Hool signed a contract with Qbuzz (Netherlands) for the supply of 54 battery-electric buses of the model Van Hool A15LE E. These buses will be used by Qbuzz for regional passenger transport in the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe as of the last quarter of 2024. All buses will be equipped with mirror cameras for the driver and three monitors for route information for passengers as well as a manual wheelchair ramp to allow access for disabled people.

Zhejiang Founder Motor Co., Ltd. (Founder Motor) announced that it plans to raise CNY 669 million for construction of an EV motor plant which annually produces 800,000 units. By leveraging in-house developed technologies, Founder Motor intends to build a plant, which covers a construction area of 38,840 square meters, in Moganshan Hi-tech Industry Development Zone, Huizhou City, Zhejiang Province. For the operation of this plant, Founder Motor will purchase 8 Chinese advanced production lines such as flat lines and stator lines, 6 digital industrial systems such as industrial Internet, and 11 units of testing equipment such as optical scanning mirrors. On March 21, Hyundai Motors India launched the Hyundai Verna for a starting price of INR 1.09 million (1.5 L gasoline engine) and going to INR 1.74 million (Turbo).
The sedan comes with a 1.5 l MPi gasoline engine with a capacity of 1,497 cc which produces a power of 84.4 kW at 6,300 rpm and maximum torque of 143.8 Nm at 4,500 rpm while the 1.5 GdI turbo 1,482 cc engine produces a maximum power of 117.5 kW at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 253 nm at 1,500~3,500 rpm. The sedan can offer a fuel efficiency of 18.6 kmpl ~20.6 kmpl.
The new Verna comes with 17 Hyundai Smart Sense – level 2 ADAS features which include automated sensing technology with radars, sensors, and cameras, forward collision warning, forward collision-avoidance assist-car, smart cruise control with stop and go etc. It is further equipped with 65 advanced safety features, including 6 airbags, hill start assists control (HAC), EPB (electric parking brake), ECM (electrochromic mirror), cornering lamps, etc.
The sedan is 4,535 mm long, 1,765 mm wide and 1,475 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm.
