On March 21, Hyundai Motors India launched the Hyundai Verna for a starting price of INR 1.09 million (1.5 L gasoline engine) and going to INR 1.74 million (Turbo). The sedan comes with a 1.5 l MPi gasoline engine with a capacity of 1,497 cc which produces a power of 84.4 kW at 6,300 rpm and maximum torque of 143.8 Nm at 4,500 rpm while the 1.5 GdI turbo 1,482 cc engine produces a maximum power of 117.5 kW at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 253 nm at 1,500~3,500 rpm. The sedan can offer a fuel efficiency of 18.6 kmpl ~20.6 kmpl.
The new Verna comes with 17 Hyundai Smart Sense – level 2 ADAS features which include automated sensing technology with radars, sensors, and cameras, forward collision warning, forward collision-avoidance assist-car, smart cruise control with stop and go, rear cross-traffic collision warning, etc. It is further equipped with 65 advanced safety features, including 6 airbags, hill start assists control (HAC), EPB (electric parking brake), ECM (electrochromic mirror), cornering lamps, etc.

Marelli announced that it has developed and produced headlamps at its Venaria (Italy) that promise both lighting performance and optimum road illumination for the new DS 7 SUV. The headlights’s ECO version is equipped with three f-Lux reflectors, providing 670lm in the low beam and 1200lm in the high beam. The top version, named DS PIXEL LED VISION 3.0, features an 84-pixel module and two auxiliary base light modules. This 84-pixel module supports the Adaptive Driving Beam to enable adaptive functions such as glare-free high beam and dynamic bending light. The size-optimized base-light modules also provide a wide horizontal light carpet. On March 10, India Kawasaki Motors Private Ltd. (IKM) launched its flagship motorcycles Z H2 for INR 2.3 million and Z H2 SE for INR 2.7 million. The bikes feature a 998-cc liquid-cooled engine with an In-line four-cylinder supercharged engine. The bikes are built to order and customers need to make full payment while booking the motorcycle.
Its features include electronic cruise control, electronic throttle valves integrated riding modes assist, and slipper clutch all-digital TFT color instrumentation with sharper new styling with twin LED headlamps and smartphone connectivity. Other features like electronic rider support like quick shifter (KQS), Kawasaki electronic control suspension (KECS), KECS (Kawasaki electronic control suspension) with Showa’s Skyhook technology, launch control mode (KLCM), cornering management function (KCMF), traction control (KTRC), Intelligent anti-lock brake system (KIBS) IMU, and enhanced chassis orientation awareness.
