On March 21, Dongfeng Peugeot started accepting pre-orders for the 408X, its blockbuster global model. The new vehicle is positioned as a midsize crossover and is available in four models, with pre-order prices ranging from CNY 145,700 to CNY 179,700.
Based on the latest EMP2 V3 platform, the vehicle is equipped with a 1.6T twin-scroll turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 129kW and a peak torque of 250Nm. An 8-speed automatic transmission completes the powertrain.
The vehicle is equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch 3D color full-LCD instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch HD center console touch display, keyless entry and one-touch start as standard. Some models are equipped with a 9.7-inch i-Toggles HD secondary touch display and Drive Assist 2.0.
The vehicle combines the handling of a sedan, the high trafficability of an SUV, the fastback styling of a coupe and the utility space of a recreational vehicle, and features the Lion Soul aesthetic design concept. Coupled with features such as a Lion Roar ultra-wide front profile and Lion Paw taillights, the vehicle exudes a dynamic and fashionable French charm.
The vehicle measures 4,705mm long, 1,859mm wide and 1,502mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,787mm.

On March 21, Neta Auto announced that 3,600 Neta V midsize electric SUVs were shipped from the Port of Nansha in Guangzhou  to Thailand, which marks the largest export volume in a single batch of an emerging Chinese automaker.
Launched in Thailand in August 2022, the Neta V Right-Hand Drive Version has a combined range of 384km under the NEDC standard and is equipped with intelligent configurations such as a 14.6-inch borderless center console large display, a 12-inch instrument panel, CCS (Cruise Control System), keyless entry, and buttonless start. The vehicle has seen a total of over 2,000 units delivered in Thailand, and has ranked second on the list of the number of battery electric vehicles licensed in Thailand for two consecutive months.
So far, Neta Auto has established the European division and the Thailand branch, and has launched three overseas products: the Neta U International Version, the Neta V International Version, and the Neta V Right-Hand Drive Version, with its overseas footprint covering the ASEAN, South Asia and Middle East markets. Additionally, the company has officially laid the foundation stone for its first overseas plant, the Eco-Intelligent Plant in Thailand, on March 10.

On March 20, Maxus, an SAIC Motor commercial vehicle sub-brand, officially launched the V70 next-generation crossover, which is available in three versions with six manual and automatic transmission models, with prices ranging from CNY 138,800 to CNY 201,600.
The vehicle is equipped with an SAIC π 2.0T high-performance diesel engine with a maximum power of 150PS or 125PS and a peak torque of 375Nm or 320Nm, with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 9-speed automatic transmission optional. The combined fuel consumption is 7.4L-8.7L/100km.
The vehicle is equipped with a 1.38-megapixel 12.3-inch HD touch display, an intelligent V2X (vehicle to everything) system, and a Level 2+ intelligent driving assistance system, and features Keyless Entry, One-Touch Start and Bluetooth Key as standard. Features such as 360-degree panoramic images are available on some models.
The vehicle features new chrome-plated, diamond shaped parametric design elements in the front profile, coupled with capsule fog lamps and transverse LED taillights.
The vehicle measures 5,364mm or 4,998mm long, 2,030mm wide, and 2,030mm, 2,035mm or 2,420mm high, with a wheelbase of 3,000mm or 3,366mm and a maximum interior volume of 9.4 cubic meters that supports multiple seating configurations from two to nine seats.
