On April 23, Maruti Suzuki India Limited introduced the new Alto with enhanced safety features and captivating design. The new Alto now comes with BS-VI compliant engine, nearly a year before the regulation being mandated.
The 796 cc BS-VI compliant engine will mean a substantial reduction (nearly 25%) of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), in vehicular emission.
Maruti Suzuki has upgraded engine hardware and software with technological advancement of exhaust system. Meeting the End of Life Vehicles (ELV) obligations, the new Alto is over 95% recoverable and 85% recyclable.
The new Alto comes with a new infotainment system called Smart Play Dock. The new Alto now comes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution System (EBD). ABS will help to avoid skidding by electronically controlling braking pressure.

On April 16, what3words was launched in the Chinese market, with Mercedes-Benz, Neusoft and Mor.AI, as first movers in China’s automobility industry.
what3words is available in all Mercedes-Benz’s new A-class models with the built-in MBUX infotainment system. what3words, with voice-input powered by Nuance, will also come as a default feature in all other new MBUX-enabled vehicles launched in China, including the GLE being premiered at Auto Shanghai.

On April 17, Daimler informed that the GLC and GLC Coupe are available for ordering now, with deliveries to sales partners to begin in July.
The GLC and GLC Coupe boasting an even more striking design, the intuitive MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system and state-of-the-art driving assistance systems.
Prices start at 47,724.95 euros for the GLC 200 d 4MATIC.
