On March 27, Haval, a Great Wall Motor (GWM) sub-brand, unveiled the names of models of its new energy lineup. The models codenamed B07 and A07 are named Xiaolong Max and Xiaolong, respectively.
The Xiaolong and Xiaolong Max adopt an innovative appearance that is sharp and full of a sense of lines. The common feature of the front profiles is the styling of the headlights and fog lamps, which draws inspiration from the profile of a fighter and makes the vehicles rather fashionable.
The Xiaolong Max is the first vehicle to feature GWM’s new 4WD plug-in hybrid technology named Hi4. It surpasses vehicles in its class in terms of body dimensions and wheelbase and has a high space expandability.

Kia released full details of the upcoming EV9 three-row electric mid-size flagship SUV. The EV9 is based on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and has a range of over 541 kilometers under the WLTP cycle.
Through an 800V fast charging system, the EV9 can recharge 239 kilometers of range in 15 minutes.
The EV9 has a length, width and height of 5,010, 1,980, and 1,755 millimeters, respectively, featuring a 3,100-mm wheelbase.
Its exterior includes a Digital Pattern Lighting Grille and vertical headlamps, along with cube lamps to give the model a futuristic appearance.
A range of powertrain configurations are available for the EV9, including two battery options.
A 76.1-kWh battery is available on the RWD Standard model, which is powered by a single electric motor to generate 160 kW and 350 Nm of torque.
The RWD Long Range model uses a 99.8-kWh battery with an electric motor to provide 150 kW and 350 Nm.
Finally, the AWD version shares the same 99.8-kWh battery and two electric motors that provide 283 kW and 600 Nm combined.
Other features include Kia’s Highway Driving Pilot system as an option, which provides the EV9 with conditional Level 3 autonomous driving utilizing the 15 sensors on the vehicle.
Another feature on the EV9 is the Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, which allows the vehicle to park itself without driver input or presence in the car.
The Kia EV9 will make its physical debut at the Seoul Mobility Show 2023.
It will then be shown at the New York International Auto Show.
Pre-orders of the EV9 will begin for the Korean market in the second quarter of 2023, while global orders will begin in the second half of 2023.
Hyundai Motor Company revealed the design of the refreshed eighth-generation Sonata mid-size sedan, emphasizing a sportier, more modern appearance.
The Sonata’s exterior is highlighted by a long front hood, low front-end and fastback roof line.
It features a Seamless Horizon Lamp, a full-width LED light strip that stretches across the vehicle’s front.
The headlamps, grille and air intake have all been redesigned for a more aggressive appearance.
New H-lights in the rear of the Sonata accentuate the model’s wide stance and modern appearance.
A spoiler-shared trunk lid heightens the performance-based aesthetic.
The interior of the refreshed Sonata features a panoramic curved display combining a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 12.3-inch AVN infotainment system in a dashboard layout.
The use of a column-type shift-by-wire controller adds more space in the center console area, while an extended armrest enhances driver comfort.
Hyundai will officially unveil the refreshed Sonata at the Seoul Mobility Show, taking place on March 30 through April 9, 2023.
