On September 16, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. (Chery) started presales for Tiggo 7 PLUS, a compact SUV. The vehicle is available in 7 models, retailing for between CNY 86,900 and 123,900.
It is an upgraded version of Tiggo 7. It is equipped with fashionable style designs such as a star-like front grille, matrix LED headlights, and LED dynamic turn signals.
In terms of dimensions, it is 4,500mm long, 1,842mm wide and 1,746mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,670mm.
Three variations of powertrain are available for the vehicle. The first powertrain comprises a 1.5TCI engine (maximum power output: 115kW, peak torque: 230Nm) and a 6-speed manual transmission. The second one comprises a 1.5TCI engine and a 9-speed continuously variable transmission. The third one comprises a 1.6TGDI engine (maximum power output: 145kW, peak torque: 290Nm) and a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. It adopts a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout.
All models of this vehicle possess functions such as 24.6-inch smart dual screens, an 8-inch AC control touch screen, and Lion 4.0 intelligent connected system. The highest-spec version also includes Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and Automatic Park Assist (APA).

On September 13, FAW Toyota announced that it has introduced the fourth-generation Toyota Harrier SUV to the Chinese market and named it "Lingfang" in Chinese.
Launched in 1997, the first-generation Toyota Harrier offered a glamorous blend of SUV and premium sedan. Since the entry into the market, Toyota Harrier has traversed four generations. It has been a bestseller in the Japanese market for over 2 decades.
The vehicle’s body is like a droplet, equipped with a large trapezoidal grille, paired with a flexible surface and transverse taillights. It also possesses a dimmable panoramic roof for the first time.

On September 13, GM announced the launch of the 2022 Chevrolet Cavalier in Mexico.
Chevrolet dealers throughout the country will begin selling the newest version of the Cavalier in October.
The exterior design of the 2022 Chevrolet Cavalier Turbo has been totally revamped, with modern, aerodynamic lines and an angular grille.
The new Chevrolet Cavalier now has an additional 4 cm of wheelbase, is 7 cm longer, almost 2 cm higher and offers almost 5 cm more legroom in the rear seat area.
The 2022 Chevy Cavalier Turbo is exclusively powered by the turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder engine that equips the Monza in China, on which the vehicle is based.
In Mexico, this 1.3-liter turbo 3-cylinder engine that provides a power of 161 hp, with 170 lb-ft of torque, coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and an electro-power steering (EPS).
With this new powertrain, customers will get an additional 54 hp and 66 lb-ft of torque compared to the previous generation.
The Chinese-made Chevrolet Monza that keeps the Cavalier nameplate alive as the brand’s longest-running compact sedan will return to compete in the C segment after five years in the B-plus segment in Mexico.
Mexico becomes the first market outside of China to receive the vehicle and is the only one in the world where the Cavalier name still exists.
