On March 2, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), showcased the luxurious and spacious interiors of the all-new Hyundai VERNA. It boasts of the best in segment wheelbase and width, thus securing a large and comfortable cabin space. It has an integrated display and slim air vents. It offers superior legroom and knee room with a focus on enhanced space for 2nd row-seat passengers.
Through optimized engineering, Hyundai has enhanced the dimensions of the all-new VERNA which now offers the best-in-segment wheelbase of 2,670 mm as well as segment best width of 1,765 mm. The enhancement of 70 mm in its wheelbase and increase of 36 mm in width has led to an increase in overall cabin roominess which will create a new benchmark in this segment. It offers a spacious boot with a storage capacity of 528 liters. It has functions like wider trunk opening, phone holder, multi-bottle holder, multi-purpose console, glovebox cooling, etc.

On February 22, River Mobility Private Limited launched its first electric two-wheeler Indie for INR 125 thousand. Indie has a 4 kWh Li-ion battery capacity, compound belt drive, and mid-drive PMSM motor. It can be charged from 0-80% in 5 hours with fast charging compatibility and claims to offer a true range of 120 km. The company has opened the pre-booking for the scooter for which it plans to start production in April 2023 and deliveries in August 2023.
The scooter has lock and load pannier mounts, alloy front foot-pegs, a 12-liter lockable glove box, 43-liter under-seat storage, telescopic front suspension, twin hydraulic rear suspension, reverse parking assist, etc.

On September 9, Omega Seiki Mobility announced the launch of the World’s Longest-Range Electric Three-Wheeler ‘ViCKTOR’, at an introductory price of INR 500 thousand (ex-showroom, New Delhi post Govt. Subsidy) for the first 100 customers. OSM Viktor is powered by a 20 kWh Lithium-Ion battery pack, providing a segment first range of 250 Kms on a single Charge. It offers the Highest power of 12.8 kW and highest torque of 430 Nm at wheels and comes with a high payload capacity of 450 kgs.
The three-wheeler comes with a lithium-ion battery pack that is IP65-rated and ensures the highest dust and water protection. Its other features include ED coated Metal body, telematics unit, GPS, Windscreen and wiping system, Spare wheel provision, Economy and boost mode, Lockable glove box, Hazard indicator, Reverse Buzzer, etc.
