On March 28, NPROXX informed that it offers an advanced type 4 pressure vessel for use in automotive applications. This new low weight product, which will reach a gravimetric storage density of 6.4%,
This new development opens the path for NPROXX to design, manufacture and supply hydrogen storage for use in a wide range of automotive applications from midsize cars such as sedans and wagons to sport utility vehicles and allied vehicles.
NPROXX pressure vessels are particularly well suited for use in the automotive industry due to their high gravimetric storage density of 6.4%. Compared with similar products, NPROXX's 700 bar pressure vessel has a better storage-to-weight ratio, allowing designers to plan and build the next generation of hydrogen vehicles with more fuel for a lower tank weight.
