Reported on August 23, 2021, Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. (TMP) revealed that local operations are not impacted by the planned reduction in Toyota Motor Corp.’s global vehicle output due to the shortage of auto parts and thinning global chips supply, among other reasons.
In another development, TMP said it is expanding the coverage of its vehicle recall for the replacement of faulty fuel pumps.
