On October 1, Chevrolet announced that new mid-engine Corvette Stingray is available for sale in Europe. The coupe in available at EUR 86,900 and for the convertible at EUR 93,400 in Germany.
The customers in the UK can get their factory-built coupe or convertible with the steering wheel on the right side at GBP 74,200 and GBP 79,200 respectively.
It has got Chevrolet’s latest-generation 6.2-liter LT2 Small Block V8 engine, mated to the Z51 package’s performance exhaust system and a new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivers 475 PS/354 kW of power and 613 Nm/452 lb-ft of torque. Customers can choose between 2LT and 3LT trim levels along with additional options in carbon flash exterior details – spoiler, exterior mirrors, wheels and convertible roof – that further emphasize the new-generation Corvette’s dynamic design.

On September 8, KAMAZ presented a K6 generation truck KAMAZ-54907 at COMTRANS 2021.
KAMAZ-54907 has a hybrid engine with a fuel consumption of 25 liters per 100 km.
Side mirrors are replaced by cameras which transmit video data to monitors that are mounted on the A-pillars inside the cab.
Two cameras are installed, which are designed to assess the driver's condition, signal increased fatigue, and dangerous driving. A display is integrated in the center of the steering wheel which can control navigation and receive phone calls. A non-contact breathalyzer installed above the driver's seat prevents the engine from starting if a person is intoxicated.

Murakami Corporation (Murakami) announced that it has concluded a share transfer agreement with Mitsuba Corporation (Mitsuba) to acquire 84.2% of Mitsuba’s outstanding shares in Oshima Electric Works Co., Ltd. (Oshima Electric Works) to make Oshima Electric Works a subsidiary. In conjunction with this acquisition, Murakami will also take over Mitsuba’s development, design and sales functions related to Oshima Electric Works’ manufacturing items. Oshima Electric Works is a Japanese manufacturer producing automotive interior and exterior door mirrors for Japanese car manufacturers. By making the company a subsidiary, Murakami plans to make it an important manufacturing site in eastern Japan to expand its customer base. The purchase price has not been disclosed. The transfer of shares and the business are scheduled to take place on April 1, 2022. (From a press release dated August 31, 2021)
