On March 14, Iran Khodro Diesel announced the start of a new pre-sale series of two products, the Foton H4 towing truck and the Foton H5 automatic towing truck. The automatic photon tow truck with a 44-ton towing capacity is equipped with a 12-liter Cummins engine with a ZF gearbox.
Among other features of this product are an electric sunroof, cruise control, in-place cooler and heater, electric side mirrors equipped with heaters, lane departure warning system and dual circuit pneumatic disc brakes, ABS, ASR, ESP systems, and AEBS intelligent emergency braking system.

Magna International Inc. (Magna) announced that its ClearView vision system has made its production debut on the Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty trucks. The ClearView vision system combines interior and exterior mirrors, cameras, electronics, and software, which help enhancing visibility around the vehicle. All data, collected from an interior rear-view video mirror, exterior mirrors with integrated cameras, and a center high-mounted stop lamp camera, is processed through Magna’s software in a central electronic control unit. The system is the first of its kind on the market that allows users to switch between an optical rear view and a video display that shows up to three camera views at the same time. Moreover, the ClearView interior mirror display features the ability to zoom in and out, adjust brightness, rotate or move the images to the left, right, up or down. LG Chem Ltd. (LG Chem) announced that Mitsubishi Motor Co., Ltd. now uses the South Korean company’s electrostatically painted resin material, LuconTX5007, for the front fenders of three models, the Outlander, the Delica D:5, and the RVR. The front fender, made of electrostatically painted resin material, is about 4kg lighter than conventional metal products. It can help reduce vehicle fuel consumption and carbon footprint. LG Chem’s electrostatically painted resin material is also good for other parts, including bumpers, side mirrors, trunks, and fuel tank filler nozzles. (From a press release on January 10, 2023)
