Aisin Group including Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. announced that it will exhibit at 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. It will show “Electric water pump for engine cooling” and “Regenerative cooperative brakes” as products for compatible with the electrification of vehicles. The group also exhibit active steerings, electronic control brake systems, high functional ESC modulators, driver-monitor systems, and around view systems. Furthermore, it will display a demo car equipped with a wide range of Aisin Group’s products as a total supplier of car industry. (From a press release on April 9, 2019)

On April 4, Tata AutoComp Systems signed a joint venture with Guoxuan Hi-Tech, China to design, engineer, manufacture and supply battery packs for the Indian 4-wheeler market. The JVC has started a prototype manufacturing operation in Pune.
Tata AutoComp’s offerings to the emerging EV segment now include battery pack, battery cooling system, battery management system, radiator and DC chargers.
The JVC is now geared up to support the Indian EV OEMs.
Guoxuan High-Tech is one the leading enterprises in Chinese power battery business which has extended the full industrial chain of LFP/NCM lithium-ion battery technical research, engineering development, manufacturing and marketing from cathode/ anode material, cell, pack, BMS to overall administration system.

Rheinmetall Automotive AG informed that it will be exhibiting components and system solutions for emission reduction and efficiency enhancement on combustion engines as well as for the electromobility segment at Auto Shanghai with the Kolbenschmidt and Pierburg brand. An electric motor housing and a battery tray will be featured, each of which to be produced locally in China by Chinese joint ventures of the Group. In addition to the cast parts used in electric vehicles, the supplier will also exhibit components for battery cooling as well as pumps and electric drive units. A heating/cooling module can also be seen as a component of the air-conditioning system of electrically operated vehicles. Products such as exhaust gas recirculation systems, throttle and other valves as well as on-demand pumps help to reduce environmentally harmful emissions. Also on display are steel pistons and lightweight pistons with friction-reducing coating technologies and high-performance plain bearings. (From a press release on April 1, 2019)
