On April 16, BYD made global debuts of the E-SEED GT concept NEV and the all-new e-series vehicles, and showcased products of the Dynasty-series at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show.
The E-SEED GT super sports car adopts BYD’s “EV Dragon Face” design.
As BYD’s first 5-seat SUV, the global strategic Song Pro is underpinned by the BMP mid-size luxury vehicle platform, leveraging the BNA car manufacturing structure. The vehicle has a wheelbase of 2,712 mm and features a smart cockpit, a DiLink2.0 smart connected system, remote control driving technologies, a level-2 advanced driving assist system (ADAS), and a panoramic holographic transparent imaging system.
For the Dynasty-series, models on display at the show include the next-generation Tang-family, Qin Pro that has undergone testing for level-4 autonomous driving, Song MAX MPV, and the all-new Yuan EV 535.
For the e-series, the automaker showcased the e1, e2, and S2. The e1 mini-size EV was launched on April 12. It is powered by a motor that has an output of 45 kW and up to 110 Nm of torque, mated to a battery with a maximum energy of 34kW/h. It has a maximum speed of 102 km/h and can accelerate from 0 km/h to 50 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The S2 smart electric SUV has an NEDC range of 305 km, which can be extended by 100 km after a 15-minute charge. The SUV comes with a DiLink intelligent connected system.

On April 17, Kia Motors America unveiled the fully-electric, all-wheel drive, four-seat HabaNiro concept with an all-electric range of more than 300 miles, a level-five autonomous mode, and butterfly wing doors at New York International Auto Show.
Designed in its California studio, Kia describes the HabaNiro as an all-electric Everything Car or ECEV – commuter, crossover, sport utility, state-of-the-art technology workroom and adventure vehicle.
The HabaNiro is 171 inches long, 77 inches wide and 63 inches high, with a wheelbase of 111.5 inches.
Its e-AWD system consists of two electric motors, fore and aft, and advanced battery technology.
When HabaNiro’s part-time level-five autonomous driving system is engaged the steering wheel and instrument panel retract forward to provide more room for the front occupants.
The HabaNiro’s interior features a heads-up display, 180° rearview video display in place of physical mirrors, full windshield entertainment video system with surround sound, 3D speed readout display, full width acrylic touch panel with Sensory Light Feedback (SLF) with Technical Option Sharing System (TOSS), and AI-based R.E.A.D. technology Eye Tracking System (ETS) that enables 180° rearview video display when it senses the driver is looking upward.
HabaNiro’s occupants are kept comfortable by a slim Perimeter Ventilation System (PVS) that quietly and evenly blows a curtain of air throughout the cabin.

On April 17, Lincoln unveiled the all-new Corsair two-row SUV at the 2019 New York International Auto Show.
The Corsair will be built alongside the Ford Escape at Louisville Assembly Plant in Louisville, Kentucky, arriving in dealerships in fall 2019.
A 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that produces 250 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque is standard, while a 2.3-liter turbocharged engine that produces 280 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque is optional, both mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission and available with Lincoln’s intelligent all-wheel-drive system is available with both engines.
The 2020 Corsair features technologies such as Phone-As-A-Key, Head-Up Display and standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 driver-assist features that include pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, blind spot information system, a lane-keeping system, rear backup camera and auto high-beam lighting.
An available upgrade, Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Plus, adds adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, lane centering technology, speed sign recognition, evasive steer assist, reverse brake assist, and active park assist plus.
