Midea Group Co., Ltd. (Midea Group) announced that Guangdong Welling Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (Welling Auto Parts), its subsidiary, has officially put the 1st-phase project at the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) parts strategic new site in Anqing, Anhui into operation, with an expected annual capacity of 1 million electric compressors, 1.2 mllion EPS steering motors and 200,000 drive motors. Bosch announced its participation in the 5th Haikou International New Energy Vehicle (NEV) & Connected Mobility Show (2023 Haikou NEV Show) with multiple advanced technologies and products in the NEV and intelligent connected vehicle fields. At the show, Bosch exhibited a range of fuel cell products. Specifically, electronic air compressors and hydrogen circulation pumps for high-power fuel cells made their debut, of which the former has been put into operation, and the latter has achieved local mass production. Bosch also exhibited core fuel cell components such as stacks, multifunctional fuel cell power controllers, hydrogen supply modules and sensors, as well as a hydrogen power module with a rated power of 134kW and a 200kW fuel cell stack test bench. In addition, Bosch exhibited a range of key technologies for future electric intelligent mobility, such as the IPB intelligent integrated braking system, power electronic controllers, electric drive axles (e-axles), separated motors, and in-vehicle charging and power distribution units. On January 6, Mercedes-Benz India launched the Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet. It features a 3.0-liter, six-cylinder, in-line 2999 cc engine with an exhaust gas turbocharger and electric auxiliary compressor churning out a total of 320 kW at 6100 rpm and a peak torque of 520 Nm at 1800-5800 rpm. The car can sprint 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
The car features an EQ Boost starter-alternator which combines a starter motor and alternator in a powerful electric motor and can perform hybrid functions. These include the boost process with 16 kW of output and 250 Nm of torque, recuperation, gliding mode, and the virtually imperceptible restarting of the engine with the start/stop function. The car also features a Track pace feature which transforms the AMG vehicle into a virtual race engineer
