On September 14, Honda offered images of the upcoming all-new 2023 Pilot TrailSport, which it is currently testing.
The most-rugged Honda SUV ever, it will feature standard all-terrain tires, steel skid plates, off-road tuned suspension, and expanded all-wheel drive system capabilities.
The next-generation Pilot and Pilot TrailSport will be revealed in fall 2022.

On September 16, Dacia announced that it will explore new grounds, bringing the values and principles that propelled it to success in the B-Segment to the C-Segment. The brand has already adopted a new identity, new logo, new dealerships, new design, and new colors. Dacia now reaffirms the three values that will guide its action and product design over the coming years.
The first value is “essential and cool”. Dacia will take its creativity one step further by adding a feature that suggests both times and places take a break on its smartphone application. This new feature is being developed by Dacia’s teams, in partnership with the Software République ecosystem, which includes Renault Group.
The second value is “robust and built for outdoor adventure”. Dacia will consolidate its range of models designed specifically for off-road driving. Dacia will continue to offer all-wheel drive systems and equipment designed for outdoor activities, including a kit that will be available in 2023 to set up a proper double bed in minutes in the Jogger, without restricting the boot space.
The third value is “eco-smart”. Dacia will be using more recycled plastic in its models. For the new-generation Duster, the target is 20% recycled plastic. Achieving this will not only involve using recycled plastic for the parts that are out of sight, but also for visible external parts which is a practice not commonly used at present. Dacia uses this practice with the skid plate under Sandero Stepway’s front bumper and will take it to the next level with a new material fine-tuned by the brand’s engineers. The material, called Starkle, is an environmentally friendly, robust, elegant recycled plastic compound.

On September 15, Dacia presented the Manifesto Concept, its vision of an essential, cool, robust, affordable, and environmentally efficient car. Although it does not prefigure an upcoming model, Manifesto is a lab for ideas with some of its innovative features available on future vehicles in the Dacia range. Manifesto Concept offers an ever simpler and more genuine experience. There are no barriers between the passengers and the environment – no doors, no windows, no windshield. The driver and passenger are therefore fully immersed in nature.
Manifesto Concept comes with all the off-road hallmarks, including 4-wheel drive.  A dedicated and removable battery supplies power through a household outlet, turning Manifesto Concept into an energy source for any outdoor activities requiring power. As it is compact and lightweight, it consumes less energy. Manifesto Concept’s main plastic body parts contain a significant portion of recycled material. Called Starkle, it is made from already processed polypropylene, with a flecked effect. The interior is fitted with natural materials such as the cork covering the dashboard.
The concept of airless tires is another innovative feature, as they aim for environmental friendliness as well as savings. It offers a single headlamp. This can also be detached to be used as a powerful torchlight. Dacia’s simple, effective and economical Bring-Your-Own-Device approach makes it possible to fully integrate a smartphone into the dashboard and onboard computer. This ingenious system is already available on several of the brand’s current models and will evolve in the future.
