On January 17, Citroen India unveiled the electric version of its C3 car. The C3 has a permanent magnet synchronous motor which produces 57 ps of power and 143 Nm of torque. It has a high energy density lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 29.2 kWh. The car can reach a max speed of 107 km/h and offers up to 320 km single-charge range. With DC fast charger, the e-C3 all-electric can be charged from 10% to 80% in 57 minutes and from 10% to 100% in 10 hours and 30 minutes with a 15 Amp plug point at home or the workplace.
The C3 offers an advanced "E-Toggle" automatic gearbox and options to switch between eco and standard drive modes. It has regenerative braking which charges the vehicle battery when brakes are applied. It comes with 35 connected car features, front driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, high-speed alert system among others.
