Thai N.D. Rubber targets THB 1 billion sales in 2018

N.D. Rubber (NDR), Thai tire maker, revealed that its strategy for the second half of 2018 is to gain more customers from both domestic and abroad for sustainable growth.
The company forecasts that domestic market will contribute 50% of its revenue in 2018 and foreign market, especially from India and Malaysia, the other half. NDR believes that the foreign market still have opportunity growth as purchasing power increases.
In the second half of 2018, the company plans to invest THB 30 to 50 million to invest in automation. Currently, it is installing machinery which will help reduce production cost and increase efficiency. The company plans to reduce its human resources by about 30-50% from the current level in the future.
NDR is also confident that its revenue in 2018 will jump to THB 1 billion, or up 20% comparing to 2017 which was at THB 830 million. The reason of the increase in revenue is because the realized income from Fung Keong Rubber Manufactory (Malaya) Sdn. Bhd. (FKRMM), Malaysia.
