Indonesian sales up 2.4% in October

Indonesian automobile manufacturers association (Gaikindo) and other sources reported that Indonesian vehicle sales in October were 94,352 units up 2.4% year over year.
January - October sales were up 2.6% to 898,163 units.
By automaker sales in October, Toyota was down 12.2% y/y to 29,938 units and Honda was down 0.4% to 17,023 units. Daihatsu was down 14.3% to 16,760 units. Mitsubishi (including Fuso trucks) was up 45.4% to 11,831 units. Suzuki was up 33.3% to 9,594 units.
Automakers see the Indonesian sales trend is basically positive based on the ongoing GDP growth.
