Business Overview

-The Anhui ARN Group (ARN) is engaged in the development, manufacturing, and sales of key engine components, New Energy Vehicle parts and special steel profiles. The main products are piston rings, valve seats and guides, pistons and piston pins, cylinder liners, engineering springs, seals and plastic rings, cooling tubes, drive batteries and other products.

-The Company has 10 production sites in Anqing (Anhui Province), 2 in Hefei (Anhui Province), and 1 each in Dalian (Liaoning Province), Langfang (Hebei Province), and Xi’an (Shaanxi Province).

-In 2022, the Group's sales increased by 13.5% year-on-year to CNY 13.937 billion. The Group employed over 7,000 people.

-In 2022, the Company established a joint venture technology center with TPR Co., Ltd. in Anqing City, Anhui Province.

-Samsung SDI-ARN (Xi'an) Power Battery Co., Ltd., a joint venture with Samsung SDI Co., Ltd., has an annual production capacity of 18GWh.

History

1953	Anqing Piston Ring Factory was established.
June 1996	The Company established Anqing TP Goetze Piston Ring Co., Ltd. jointly with Teikoku Piston Ring Co., Ltd. (Japan) and Federal-Mogul (U.S.A.).
Aug. 1997	The Company started production at a new plant.
Dec. 1999	Teikoku Piston Ring Co., Ltd. and Anqing TP Goetze Piston Ring Co., Ltd. jointly established Anqing TP Powder Metallurgy Co., Ltd. to manufacture valvetrain components.
July 2001	The Company passed a quality test given by Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile.
Oct. 2001	The Company started mass production of cylinder liners.
Jun. 2002	The Company and Art Metal MFG jointly established Anqing Art TP Pistons Co.,Ltd. to manufacture pistons.
July 2004	The Company, Teikoku Piston Ring Co., Ltd. and Federal-Mogul jointly established Anqing TP Goetze Liner Co., Ltd. to produce cylinder liners.
Jan. 2005	Anqing TP Goetze Liner Co., Ltd. launched production of cylinder liners at its plant in the Anqing Economic and Technological Development Zone.
Feb. 2005	The Company, Teikoku Piston Ring Co., Ltd., and Yoosung Enterprise Co. Ltd. (Korea) jointly established China United Piston Ring Co., Ltd. to make piston rings.
Sep. 2006	The Company, Teikoku Piston Ring Co., Ltd., Dalian Yuantongda Trade Consulting Co., Ltd. (China) and Xin-An Trading Co., Ltd. (Japan) jointly established Dailian Boxin Special Steel Products Co., Ltd. to manufacture piston rings and other wire rods.
Oct. 2006	The Company and Scherdel of Germany jointly established Anqing Scherdel Automobile Parts Co., Ltd. to manufacture piston rings.
2010	Hefei Huanxin Auto Parts Co., Ltd. was established.
Aug. 2013	Anhui Huan Ming Precision Control Co., Ltd. was established.
Mar. 2014	Anqing TPR Engineering Plastic Co., Ltd. was established jointly by the Company and Japan TPR.
Jun. 2014	Samsung SDI ARN (Xi'an) Power Battery Co., Ltd., a joint venture of the Company, Samsung SDI, and Xi'an Gaoke (Group) Company, was established.
Jun. 2014	Huangxin Federal-Mogul Powder Metallurgy Co., Ltd., a joint venture between the Company and Federal-Mogul of the U.S, held a groundbreaking ceremony in Anqing.　The joint venture will manufacture valve seat inserts and valve guides.
2015	The Company established AXM and AXN with SAIF Partners.
2016	The Company established ARN Germany and ARN Japan.
Nov. 2018	The Company established Aisin (Anqing) Auto Parts Co., Ltd. jointly with Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd.
Dec. 2020	Aisin Anqing Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. started operations.
Feb. 2022	A technical center was established jointly with TPR in Anqing City, Anhui Province.
