Strategic Agreement

Mar. 2001 The Company announced agreements with Davco Technology, LLC, and Detroit Diesel Corporation to manufacture and distribute a new extended life filter element for use in the Davco 382 Fuel Processor. Using Davco's EleMax filter technology, the Company will manufacture the filter element and Detroit Diesel Corporation will handle initial marketing and distribution. The Davco EleMax filter, available in the second quarter of 2001.

Apr. 2003 "The Fuel Cell Contamination Control" (FC3) division of Donaldson Company, Inc. announced a formal research partnership with Los Alamos National Laboratory to study the effect of ambient contaminants on the performance, life and durability of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells. Sponsored in part by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Company is using the research findings of the two-year program in its ongoing development of fuel cell filtration solutions. The Company's filtration expertise will be used in the development of air filtration and acoustics mitigation systems that prolong fuel-cell engine life. Filtration is a critical component in accelerating commercialization of a wide range of fuel cell-powered products, including automobiles, cell phones, laptop computers and power generation products.
Jul. 2005 The Company and Hollingsworth & Vose (H&V) announced that they entered into a global patent license agreement covering the Company's Ultra-Web nanofiber media technology for use in pleated on-road filters. According to the Company, H&V's global access to other filter manufacturers, combined with its patents, will accelerate the market acceptance of nanofiber filtration products. The Company has more than 80 issued and pending U.S. and international patents covering its nanofiber technology.
